Happy Wednesday, friends! Do I have some exciting news to share with y’all today — my sweet client Heather of Heather Kline Photography launched her beautiful new brand this past weekend, and let me tell you that it looks incredible in action! As one half of the husband and wife team behind Heather Kline Photography, Heather has created an incredible business specializing in heartfelt weddings, portraits and engagements. Together, Heather and her husband Norm focus on documenting real life love stories through clean, detail-oriented photography. And their own love as they work together side-by-side serves as such a beautiful testament to the power of a stronger than oak marriage!

Heather reached out to me late last year to chat about creating a refreshed and revamped visual presence for her brand. We put our heads together to create a feminine, romantic and elegant aesthetic that represented not only the heart behind her work, but also the incredibly thoughtful experience she and Norm create for their brides and grooms! Heavily inspired by her love of the South, specifically Savannah, GA where they work, Heather wanted to focus on details that echoed her heart for authenticity and tradition.

Through the use of soft, muted hues, we created a primary color palette that exudes romanticism and timelessness. Whether in print or in person, this palette is as approachable and endearing as it is polished and professional. We paired a beautiful monoline script with a more modern san serif for her primary logo as a nod to Southern grace meets modern sensibility. From there, we focused on creating a scrolling pattern that evoked the scrolling ironwork found on the iron gates for many a Savannah mansion, grounding that subtle detail in a whole heaping of heart! From her sweet monogram to her detail-heavy stationery, I don’t think my little designer heart could love Heather’s rebrand any more than I already do!

And as if her print presence and visual identity weren’t enough, Heather and Norm put their heads together to create an amazing website on ShowIt 5 that seamlessly weaves every detail of the new brand throughout.
